GitHub Release Download Tracker

Live download counts, asset totals, and release trends for any public GitHub repository.

Find a Repository

Paste a repository URL or type an owner/repo pair to fetch current release statistics.

Searches are shareable with the page URL, cached locally for faster revisits, and refreshed manually whenever you want a fresh GitHub pull.

Ready to Inspect Release Downloads

Start with a public repository that publishes GitHub releases. The tracker will total release downloads, show per-asset counts, keep a local history snapshot, and let you re-open recent lookups from this browser.

About the GitHub Release Download Tracker

See how often the release assets of any public GitHub repository are downloaded. GitHub exposes per-asset download counts in its API but hides them in the UI — this tool fetches them live, aggregates totals per release, and can keep a local history so you can watch trends between visits.

How to use it

  1. Enter a repository as owner/repo or paste its GitHub URL.
  2. Browse releases and assets with their download counts and totals.
  3. Optionally filter assets and track the repository to build a local history.

Data comes straight from GitHub's public API in your browser; tracked history is stored locally on your device.
